Iekasējamais ievedmuitas maksājumu daudzums nekādā gadījumā nedrīkst pārsniegt to daudzumu, kas tiktu iekasēts, ja attiecīgās preces būtu nomuitotas pašmāju lietošanai tajā datumā, kad tās tika pakļautas pagaidu ievešanas procedūrai.
