Bankas pamatkapitāls ir 8 368 844 474,11 EUR, ko Dalībvalstis iemaksā šādi: Dānija 1 763 074 493,79 EUR; Igaunija 76 651 259,81 EUR; Somija 1 482 690 785,19 EUR; Islande 79 132 913,42 EUR; Latvija 111 830 807,21 EUR; Lietuva 163 231 714,80 EUR; Norvēģija 1 799 704 941,30 EUR; Zviedrija 2 892 527 558,59 EUR. Par jebkuru pamatkapitāla palielinājumu vai samazinājumu lemj Pārvaldnieku padome pēc Bankas Direktoru valdes priekšlikuma. Jebkurš pamatkapitāla palielinājums vai samazinājums tiek sadalīts Dalībvalstu starpā, balstoties uz Dalībvalstu nacionālo kopienākumu tirgus cenās, kā to periodiski nosaka Pārvaldnieku padome.
