7. Article
Costs
(1) Services in the course of
emergencies and life saving will be rendered by the civilian
authorities or from the military authorities on reimbursement
basis and settled according to the health insurance policies in
respective countries and/or international agreements.
(2) Outpatient care, including of
ordinary dental care at military medical facilities, will be
rendered on a reimbursement basis. Ordinary medical care in the
civilian sector by choice of an individual person will be the
responsibility of that individual.
(3) The respective Participants
will render inpatient care and special dental care at the
infirmary on a reimbursement basis. Inpatient care and special
dental care at civilian medical facilities by referral from the
Armed Forces medical services will be rendered on a reimbursement
basis by the respective Participants. The costs of consulting
civilian physicians, dentists, hospitals and other specialists
without referral from the Armed Forces Health Service are to be
paid directly by the individual.
