18. Article

Training includes basic training, pre-mission training and mission preparation training. Basic training means all skills necessary for the individual soldier's participation in a mission abroad. Pre-mission training means the specific training in the Baltic States. Mission preparation training means the training in Denmark. The contents of pre-mission training and mission preparation training will be co-ordinated between the Danish Training Team and the respective units of the Baltic Participants. Section 3 CONSTRAINTS The provisions of this MOU do not intend to conflict with national legislation of the Participants and with international law. If conflicts arise the interested nations and authorities will be notified and international law, the current international agreements or national legislation of the Participants will prevail. Section 4 LANGUAGE The English language is the working language of the training and co-operation while deployed. Section 5 REPORTING OF CONTRIBUTIONS The Baltic Participants are responsible for the proper reporting of their respective contribution to NATO, in accordance with the Participation Agreement in force between NATO and Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, respectively.
